A New Year: Yearly Examen
"Wisdom awaits at the threshold'. Upcoming Events: One-Hour Online Examen, From Wounds to Wisdom
Wisdom awaits at the threshold
Resplendent and eternal is Wisdom, readily perceived by those who listen in the Silence of the heart.
Wisdom hastens to make Herself known;
She is available to all who love and seek Her; who awakens Her from within will not be disappointed;
for Wisdom awaits at the threshold.
~Nan Merrill, October 2021

From Wounds to Wisdom: February 18th-April 22nd

Often in the New Year, we desire to make changes. Yet without rooting ourselves in Love and addressing the inner narratives that drive our behavior, making changes can be futile.
I’m excited to announce that I’m going to be offering this closed group for Lent again this year! It will be my third time leading a small group of people, who will be placed in spiritual direction triads for the entire 9 weeks. Closed doesn’t mean you aren’t invited, it means once the group is formed it won’t be open to drop-in attendees.
9 (1-hour) Soul Care Groups: guided reflection and same triad
2 individual sessions

Whether your addiction is to help others, to be busy, or to the adrenaline of the next thing, you will be invited to root your identity as a Beloved, and from that place, explore your motivations and the wounds that drive you.
Material integrates: Twelve Steps, Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, Lectio Divina, guided imaginative exercises, body-based practices, and reflection questions.
For now, I invite you to PAUSE.
Take a deep breath even as you are reading this.
Notice what is coming up in you.
What do you feel?
curious?
overwhelmed?
dismissive?
What sensations do you feel in your body?
heart racing?
gut tense?
jaw clenched?
What are you telling yourself?
Invite you to welcome what you are feeling and recognize those voices.
What are you grateful for as you enter this New Year?
What does a movement toward wholeness look like for you?
